It’s a mere three minute walk to either the Star Ferry or the TST metro station. The Continental Club at the Marco Polo has become my second home in Asia, as I’ve been fortunate enough to stay so many times on business and pleasure.īeing so close to the Star Ferry is absolutely a top reason I choose the Marco Polo. They’re always happy to share, and will definitely remember you should you return. The hotel restaurant is well worth a visit and boasts great Italian food and harbour views.Īs always I encourage you to chat with the staff, learn about their lives. It’s kind of like an old English country club.Īnd don’t miss out on Cucina. The staff wear old style butler suits and it adds an air of exclusivity to your stay. Inside the lounge is a very colonial experience, a real butler service. Request a harbour view room and you won’t be disappointed. The club floor is away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, and in my opinion, worth the extra money. Nothing is too much trouble to help you organize your stay-they’ll book your reservations or give you ‘live like a local’ advice. The club lounge manager Frances and her team, make the Club floors feel like a hotel within a hotel. Drinks are served at a special rate outside of happy hour. The Canton Lounge, as the club lounge is referred to, offers a host of benefits that include: daily breakfast, all day tea and coffee service and happy hour featuring wines and bespoke canapes. The Continental Club is the designated guest floors which come with unparalleled benefits that seal the hallmark of Marco Polo hospitality.

Guests enjoy easy access to the area’s major tourist attractions such as Kowloon Park, Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Space Museum and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The Star Ferry and ocean terminal are at the hotel’s doorstep and shopping is literally next door with the hotel forming part of Harbour City, the largest shopping complex in Hong Kong. It overlooks the spectacular Victoria Harbour, and the hotel is located on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui-the heart of the city’s busiest commercial shopping and business hub. The hotel is in Kowloon close to the TST metro station.
