In fact, they use the designs and personalities of these characters to create their own brand new characters. Yes, they take inspiration from the characters already in existence. But sometimes these creators run out of ideas, so what do they do? Well they rip-off other comic book characters because it's easy. Many a times the characters are fictional and are purely a result of the imagination and creativity of its creators. They can create characters based on real people they know of or some famous personalities which they admire. This is not meant to be an anti-Marvel hate rant, I enjoy Marvel and their stories, I just think DC is better.When the creators of comics create a character, they are allowed to derive their inspiration for their villains and superheroes, from all kinds of sources. Vision, who has one of the most powerful artifacts in the universe embedded in his forehead, which is made out of one of the strongest metals in existence. Lots of Marvel characters seem, to me, to be too perfect.
DC's stories are darker and gritter, their characters are more down-to-earth, and none of them are incredibly overpowered. Case in point, their animated movies.Ĭomics: I think DC cimetly wins in this category. You what proof? Just look at the Fantastic Four movies or the X-Men movies.

And Marvel doesn't even completely win in the movie category. But, I feel like overall, DC is better than Marvel. The DCEU, when compared to the MCU, doesn't look so good. When people say ' Marvel is better than DC', what they mean is 'The MCU is better than the DCEU',and I totally agree with this. First off: This sub is called unpopular opinion, and so please don't say 'ohhh, I disagree, Marvel is much better than DC' because this is my OPINION
